Account Edge and MacOS10.15.7
I have upgraded from El Capitan 10.11 to Catalina 10.15.7 on my old trusty MacBook Pro that I have used for many years and holds all my Account Edge V18.2 files. (I only upgraded to Catalina in order to use other software without considering what effect it might have on my accounting files!) Account Edge no longer runs and tells me that the program needs to be updated. I have installed V18.7 but still no luck. Is there a later AE upgrade that will allow me to use my files. HI, We have been advised by the ATO that we have not paid the Super for some employees. OUr records show we paid the MYOB clearing house, and we have nothing returned, or any notificaitons of any issues. Is there a way to find out when our payments were made the the funds from the clearing house and to the Super funds. We need to provide this to ensurewe aren't fined. Hi all, I've just installed and set up the latest MYOB version for an Australian customer who uses PTRS (Payment Times Reporting Scheme). According to the release notes, this version includes the necessary updates to comply with the latest Australian Government changes. From a consultant’s perspective, I’d like to confirm the following: Aside from upgrading the software and database, is there anything additional we need to implement or configure for PTRS to comply with the new reporting requirements? Will the client notice any changes in the reporting layout or structure, or are the updates primarily behind-the-scenes (i.e., changes to how figures are calculated)? We’ve tested the report in both the old and new versions using the same date range, and the report layout appears identical. In many cases, the figures look the same as well — which makes me wonder if the updates are mostly around compliance logic, rather than presentation. What kind of testing or validation can the client perform on their side to ensure the report is compliant with the latest government requirements? Are there any examples or key differences we should be pointing them to? Any clarification or confirmation from MYOB or other consultants would be greatly appreciated! Good Afternoon all, I am looking for ideas from those of you who no longer print Sale Invoices for taxation records purposes but instead save them 'Digitally", how do you do it in MYOB in terms of format, file type and how often (daily/weekly)? I am really starting from scratch here and eager to save paper but want to make sure I am meeting all taxation requirements in the process... Hello, I have just imported the Chart of accounts to a new company several of the Header accounts are showing balances despite there being zero balances for all the detail accounts. The opening balances are all showing zero also. I have tried to change the header account to a detail account, but MYOB will not allow it. This and everything else I have tried is met with the message "Cannot change account category" I relocated all detail categories below it to another header and that made no difference. I cannot delete the account as I get the message "You cannot delete a category with a non zero current balance" however I have been unable to find any way to clear the balance to enable it. I have seen on another forum to create a back up file, however the version of MYOB I am using does not seem to have that function The help function does not allow me to list Chart of accounts as an issue. Hi All, I am struggling to understand why an item in my inventory has different quantities at hand, depending on the report. For example, in the below items register report, it says the starting quantity is at 0 However, in the system, it says that there is 12 on hand before the 18/06. Over the past month, we have been experiencing intermittent issues when attempting to sign into MYOB. When trying to sign in to access any of our online accounts, the login window appears but remains blank, hanging indefinitely without any progress. We've tried restarting both the program and the computers (this issue affects multiple systems in our office, not just one), but the problem persists. On some days, we find that we must restart the computers 3-4 times before the login works, or, in other instances, we've left the system idle for an hour and it eventually begins to function correctly. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It's becoming increasingly frustrating, especially as we seem to encounter more issues with each update. The need to close all other open programs just to access MYOB is not only time-consuming, but it is also significantly affecting the efficiency of our office operations.21Views0likes1CommentDeleting an old company file
We have been trying to get MYOB Team to delete an old company file but after 4 weeks of emails and phone calls the file has still not been deactivated and we are still getting charged for the 3 company files instead of 2 company files. Does anyone know how you can deactivate a company file as obviously no one at MYOB seems to know?9Views0likes1Comment
